Model GLA and GLA-2 - Exhaust Only Back Shelf Style Hoods




Product Overview
These units are wall mounted in close proximity to the cooking surface. The front lip of the hood is typically “set back” from the front of the appliance. This style of hood often results in a lower exhaust rate when compared to canopy hoods. The hood is typically used for light and medium duty applications.

Specifications
1. The back shelf hood shall be fabricated in accordance with underwriters Laboratories Test Procedure – 710, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Bulletin #96, and bear the NSF International Certification Mark (NSF).

2. The hood shall be constructed of 18 guage type 304, stainless steel for all exposed interior and exterior surfaces. Unexposed surfaces shall be 18 guage aluminized steel. The exterior joints and seams shall be liquid tight, ground smooth and polished.

3. The hood shall include a filter housing constructed of the same material as the interior liner complete with aluminum UL Classified grease filters of sufficient numbers and sizes to ensure optimum performance as specified by the filter manufacturer. The filter housing shall treminate into a pitched removable full-length grease trough that will drain into a removable stainless steel grease cup.

4. The hood shall be Model GLA or GLA-2 as manufactured by Grease Master.
